The dimensions of an object are 3.5 cm, 3.5 cm, and 2.9 cm. Its mass is 6.0g. Calculate the volume and density of the object. Will it float or sink?
Please help me with my other question too. Thank you !!!

  • Science -

    volume = 3.5 x 3.5 x 2.9 = ? cc
    density = mass/volume.
    If it is more dense than H2O (1.00 g/mL) it will sink; otherwise, it will float.
